[ Abstract ]
A generalization of S. Mukai's conjecture says that ρ(i−1)≤n holds for any Fano n-fold with Picard number ρ and pseudo-index i, with equality if and only if it is isomorphic to (Pi−1)ρ. In this talk, we consider this conjecture for n=6, which is an open problem, and give a proof of some special cases.
