The alert status of Komaba campus in response to the Covid-19 pandemic has been lowered to Stage Orange.

All students, graduate students and postdoctoral researchers are requested to study and work at home.

Students who have to collect belongings in their office/room, but only for short periods and only a limited number of times; researchers, for tasks that cannot be performed without being in the mathematics building and students or researchers who, for exceptional reasons, have requested and received special permission from their supervisor or host to enter Komaba campus for a short time span, may nonetheless be allowed to enter.

For security reasons however, entry to the mathematics building is forbidden at night (between 8:00PM and 8:00AM) and during weekends or holidays.

If you feel the above circumstances apply to you or if there are any other exceptional reasons, please submit a written request to your supervisor or host (by email) who will then, on your behalf, ask the Dean to grant permission.

Note however that all gates except for the main gate will remain closed. Only members of the Komaba I Campus are allowed to enter the campus, and they must do so through the main gate.

Moreover, the following procedures are in place to prevent the spread of infection.

(1) In principle, no one will be allowed to enter the premises without a mask. However, please take appropriate countermeasures to prevent heatstroke.

(2) Before entering the Komaba I Campus, please file an application at the following "Application for Entry to the Komaba I Campus" website. Once your application is accepted, you will receive a confirmation email.
You will be asked to show the confirmation email on your smartphone or other devices when you enter the campus. At the same time, please present your student or staff ID. If you forgot to take your body temperature or were unable to file an application online, you will be asked to take a temperature test and to fill out the form at the security guard's office.

(3) Those who had a body temperature of 37.5 degrees Celsius or higher on the morning of the day and those who had been outside Japan within the previous 14 days are not allowed to enter the campus.
