Abstract:
We consider a system of two types of particles called A-particles and B-particles moving on one-dimensional lattice according to simple excluded random walks. A- and B-particles are distinguished by their jump rates. We derive the Stefan free boundary problem in a hydrodynamic scaling limit for a certain class of initial conditions. An extension to $n$-component system ($n\ge3$) is also discussed.
