On the Equality of Two Polymer Measures in Three Dimensions

Abstract:
A construction of the three dimensional polymer measure proposed by Edwards was first given by Westwater in 1980. Bolthausen gave in 1993 a simpler construction for small values of the coupling constant. In this paper we first extend the latter approach to all positive coupling constants and then prove that this polymer measure is the same as the one given by Westwater.
