Lecture Series on Mathematical Sciences in Society I & II
(All lectures are in Japanese)
- Aim (Objective): In this course, graduate students will learn how
advanced mathematics is used in various sectors of modern-day society.
The course takes a lecture series style, with invited speakers coming
from various companies and governmental organizations.
Through the lecture course, it is expected that the students will
learn about the application of the mathematical sciences to a broad
range of social topics, and gain a wider knowledge of future career
paths.
The lecture course is therefore consistent with the goals of our Global COE Program, which aims to produce highly trained mathematicians capable of addressing the various needs of society.
