小研究集会「Workshop on Representation Theory and Geometry in Ryukoku」

リー代数のそれぞれの有限次元表現に対して、Benoist-Kobayashiはあるnumerical invariantを対応させる定義を導入した。代数的表現に対しては、この不変量は、原理的には有限回の計算で行える有理数であり、具体的な数値の決定は組合せ論の問題となる。この講演では、等質空間G/Hの大域幾何や調和解析のいくつかの問題が、部分リー代数hの有限次元表現に対するこのnumerical invariantによってどの程度統制できるかについてのお話をしたい。
