Title: Connes' bicentralizer problem for q-deformed Araki-Woods algebras

Abstract: We prove that any q-deformed Araki-Woods algebra admits a maximal abelian subalgebra which is a range of a faithful normal conditional expectation. In the case of type III₁, this means that these factors have trivial bicentralizers.
