Title: Generalized strong asymptotic freeness

Abstract: Asymptotic strong freeness was obtained for iid GUE by Haagerup and Thorbjornsen, for iid Haar unitaries by Collins and Male, and for random permutations (modulo removing a fixed point space) by Bordenave and Collins. We extend this result to a much bigger class of sequences of matrix groups. By passing, we obtain new results on Weingarten calculus and a completely general theory of operator valued non-backtracking theory. This is joint work with Bordenave.
