At the Entrance
- Sign in if you are using the library.
- Have identification. We ask for it if you are not Math-Sci member.
- No bags on library premise. Put your laggage in a locker.
- Smoking, eating and drinking are strictly prohibited inside library.
Access to Print Collections
- We have open stacks and you can use collections on site.
- Put a book on the designated book cart after use.
- Ask us if you need to use materials in stackroom.

- About valuable books, ask us in advance.

Borrowing Materials
Bring materials to the circulation desk. Borrowers need to have any of the following:
- University of Tokyo ID card **It must be registered for library use.
- University of Tokyo Library Pass **If you don't have a UT ID card, ask your home library to issue this.

- UT members out of Komaba Campus can borrow our materials by using My Opac.
- Materials checked out by other users may be reserved by using My Opac.
- You can extend the period of a loan, as long as it is not overdue or requested by another user. Access My Opac.
Returning Materials
Borrowers are responsible for returning materials to the circulation desk by the due date. Book drop is available when the library is closed.
- UT members out of Komaba Campus can return our materials by Inter-Campus Return Service. More information, ask your home library.
Computers
Library has 4 PC's for information search. (OS: Windows 10)
- Library's PC's are only for academic activities. E-mailing and installation of software are prohibited.
Photocopying Materials
Photocopies of materials are permitted within the limits of copyright laws. Please fill out the necessary forms before you make any copies.
Math-Sci members: Photocopiers are located on the 1st floor, and also in the photocopying room on the 2nd floor.
Non-Math-Sci members: Card operated photocopier is located in the photocopying room on the 2nd floor. Photocopy cards can be bought from a card dispenser in the room.
- Non-Math-Sci & UT members with "Request Form for Photocopying Material" can photocopy materials at research expense. **Service hours: -16:45
- Members of Multi-Disciplinary Sciences whose home library is Science Library, members of School of Science and Kavli IPMU can photocopy at research expense without "Request Form for Photocopying Material". **Service hours: -16:45
- UT members out of Komaba Campus can request photocopies, and have them delivered by internal mail. More information, ask your home library.
