Abstract: In this talk, I shall discuss recent work that Baruch Solel and I have been pursuing on operator algebras of noncommutative functions that was inspired in part by Masamichi Takesaki's and Jun Tomiyama's famous 1961 paper on homogeneous C^*-algebras.
