This document was previously titled MathML-enabled Camino. Now that the bug 190307 is fixed, please use the official distribution 1.0rc1 or higher if you just want MathML support on Camino. The distribution here is meant to provide a Camino build reflecting other unapproved patches by me.
Download MathML-enabled Camino: This package contains a Camino distribution with MathML functionality. Track my patch at bugzilla bug #190307. You also need mathematical fonts installed on your system.
To install Camino, drag the application icon into the place you want to install it.
When some of the prerequist fonts are not found, Camino complains about that even if your fonts have enough glyphs. If you do not want to install the fonts in the alert, you can explictly specify that. For example if you only use Mathematica fonts, set
Math1, Math2, Math4
for
font.mathfont-family
in prefs.js to shut the alert down. I have included links to some of bugzilla's (Mac) MathML bugs in the Bugs folder. Please let me know if there is any problems running the application. See also my site.
