Math Math-kun

mathmath-kun
The above cute guy is a mascot of japanese post office. His name is "masu masu kun" in japanese. It sounds like "math math kun" doesn't it?? I like this lovely guy!
By the way, the word used in his name, "masu", means "box". This gives us a mysterious formula "math"="masu"="box" i.e., "math=box". Mankind's curiosity made opened this forbidden "box" and the enigmas of the univers were released. Do you know what is remaining on the box like Pandora's jar?
This is Kazuki Hiroe's official web site. He is a post doctrial fellow in the University of Tokyo, graduate school of mathematical sciences.

Myself

I'm now interested in the theory of Whittaker vectors (or models? or functions?). I want to understand them as (multivariable) hypergeometric functions. Also I want to know relations with the other fields of mathematics, for example automorphic forms and quantized integrable systems.
Lately, I also interested in the theory of Fuchsian differential equations. Of course this is very classic field of math studied from early 20th century. But neverthless this still is growing very rapidly now!! This is quite execiting!
Anyway, I should work soooo hard to comprehend them!!!! "GAMBARI-Math!!!"
